In the INformation Age, intellectual property has become an important resource to be developed, exploited, and protected. Disputes often arise over rights, infringements, misappropriation, and licensing issues. Doug has seen all of these disputes arise, both as a trial lawyer and as a mediator. Generally, the law is well-settled, but the fight is based on perceptions. Successful mediation requires the possibility of a shared, third perspective to bring the parties to common ground.
